Secondary Antibodies
The reactivity of the antiserum is directed to the Fc subunits of the major immunoglobulins. It does not react with any non-Ig protein in monkey serum, as tested by immunoelectrophoresis and double radial immunodiffusion. In immunoelectrophoresis and single and double radial immunodiffusion (Mancini, Ouchterlony) to identify and measure immunoglobulins; as secondary antibody to precipitate the immunoglobulin in normal monkey serum. This antiserum is not intended for use in non-precipitating antibody-binding or other highly sensitive assays. For such uses labelled and unlabelled cytochemical and immunoassay grade reagents meeting the necessary additional specificity and performance requirements are available.
Purified normal IgG, IgA and IgM fractions isolated from pooled rhesus monkey serum. Freund’s complete adjuvant is used in the first step of the immunization procedure.
Delipidated, heat inactivated, lyophilized stable whole serum No preservative added, as it may interfere with the antibody activity. No foreign protein added. Total protein and IgG concentration in the antiserum are comparable to those of pooled goat serum.

Inter-species cross-reactivity is a normal feature of antibodies to immunoglobulins, since Ig of different species frequently share antigenic determinants. Precipitation reactions have been observed with immunoglobulins in Serum of other old-world Monkeys, including Cercopithecus, Cynomolgus and Baboon. The antiSerum may also react with other species as has been observed for Chimpanzee and man.
Precipitating polyclonal Goat antiSerum to Monkey immunoglobulins, IgG, IgA and IgM, Fc specific.

Immunoprecipitation
Immunoprecipitation. In immunoelectrophoresis use 2 μl or equivalent against 120 μl antiserum. In double radial immunodiffusion use a rosette arrangement with 10 μl antiserum in a 3 mm diameter centre well and 2 μl serum samples (neat and diluted) in 2 mm diameter peripheral wells. Precipitin titre not less than 1:32 when tested against normal rhesus monkey serum in agar block titration. No foreign proteins added.
The lyophilized antiserum is shipped at ambient temperature and may be stored at +4°C; prolonged storage at or below -20°C. It is reconstituted by adding 1 ml sterile distilled water. Working dilutions are prepared by adding sterile phosphate buffered saline (PBS, pH 7.2). Repeated thawing and freezing should be avoided. Working dilutions should be stored at +4°C, not refrozen, and preferably used the same day. If a slight precipitation occurs upon storage, this should be removed by centrifugation. It will not affect the performance of the product. Lyophilized at +4° C--at least 10 years. Reconstituted at or below -20° C--3-5 years. Reconstituted at +4° C--7 days

This datasheet is as accurate as reasonably achievable, but Nordic-MUbio accepts no liability for any inaccuracies or omissions in this information.
This antibody needs to be stored at + 4°C in a fridge short term in a concentrated dilution. Freeze thaw will destroy a percentage in every cycle and should be avoided.Rhesus Monkeys proteins are often measured by ELISA on serum or plasma since consensus epitopes with the human ELISA are used for producing the antibodies of these ELISA test kits. Often cDNA of monkeys is used as alternative to human cDNA as a model for drug development. Monkeys are generally considered to be intelligent, particularly Old World monkeys.

Immunoglobulin A (IgA, also referred to as sIgA) is an antibody that plays a critical role in immune function in the mucous membranes. More IgA is produced in mucosal linings than all other types of antibody combined. Examples are EMA, ACA ELISA test kits and for diagnostic detection the IgA of Anti-Beta-2 Glycoprotein 1; β2-Glycoprotein 1 Antibodies; Beta 2GP1 Ab, Beta-2 Glycoprotein 1 Antibodies IgG, IgM, and IgAs.Immunoglobulin M, or IgM for short, is a basic antibody that is produced by B cells. IgM is by far the physically largest antibody in the human circulatory system. It is the first antibody to appear in response to initial exposure to an antigen
IgA,IgG,IgM
Immunoglobulin gamma, IgG, mouse monoclonal H&L chain clones or rabbit, goat polyclonal antibodies have 4 parts. There are 2 heavy chains, 2 light chains. The IgG antibody has 2 antigen binding sites. They represent 70% or more of serum antibodies. This antibody can be antigen purified or protein A or G purified. For storage sodium azide is added or you can call us to request azide free antibody preparations. These will need colder storage temperatures.
